Copper Chimney
The Chimney was redesigned in respect to its history and its extraordinary copper chimney that was the centerpiece of this restaurant. The new design gives a fresh look where the old meets the new: up-scale and high fashion, yet casual and comfortable. The previous beams were exposed with new hand painted designs and new Copper AC Grills adding to the luxury of the space.

Chimney Restaurant
When you dine at The Chimney, you’re eating at one of Nepal’s oldest fine-dining restaurants. Based in an old Rana building at Hotel Yak and Yeti, everything about The Chimney speaks of class. From the inner décor and architecture, which have touches of Nepali art, to the tiny details in the food. The restaurant, for most of its 40 year-history, served as a fine-dining restaurant and was redesigned to be more casual and appealing to everyone.

Enriched Details
Tones of red brick and dark carved woods create the sense of a quiet luxury, Customized lanterns add a warmth to the design combining local heritage with a modern richness that gives a refine elevated design, that adds to the ambience of drama and elegance.

Outside Terrace
Extending the dining experiences two new outdoor terrace were designed with different levels and ambiences. The lower lounge has chic furniture that invites guests to relax, and enjoy lunch and evening snacks in the winter sun. When it gets chillier, guests can either ask for a blanket or move inside where the historical copper chimney makes things warm and cosy.

Outside Terrace
The new upper terrace has various dining seating with sail fabric canopies above. The Lower level is more casual with chic furniture and a featured central lighting ambience creating a fun place to be. A trendy, yet classy restaurant, serving the most fashionable and innovative dishes and drinks. The new outdoor areas have been a hit with the urban young crowd who like to spend time on chic furniture enjoying the greenery.
