MEA’s principal and designers have an unrivaled provenance within the Hospitality Design Industry. Our talent pool Is hand chosen having worked and designed some of the world’s most prestigious hotels in London, Dubai, India, South East Asia and the Far East. Established in 2014 and based in Dubai, at MEA we create bespoke interior solutions for a range of multinational brands to independent owners.
At MEA we are committed to building successful brands and creating unique environments for all our Clients. Our approach is both holistic and collaborative. We start by looking at your business, our first step is to build an understanding with you and interpret your vision, your goals and your aspirations. As Senior Designer , Michelle worked on Prestigious Private Residences for the Royal Family in Brunei, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. In addition Michelle designed many of the Restaurant facilities at the The Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei, including Beach Facilities and the stand alone Cascades Asian Restaurant.
The Empire Hotel & Country Club is an astounding property nestling on the shores of the South China Sea in the tiny sultanate of Brunei. Tucked on the Northwest corner of the island of Borneo, between sea and jungle on the border with Malaysia.

Michelle Evans - Creative Director & Founder
Michelle established MEA Design in Dubai in 2014 after just winning the highly prestigious ‘Best Interior Designer of the year – 2013’ award from the Commercial Interior Design Awards .
Michelle’s unique experience in hospitality design with over 30 years has earned her a solid design reputation around the world wining numerous awards in design. Her personal experiences from conceptual design through to completion has taken her journey on numerous projects throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
