As Senior Designer , Michelle worked on Prestigious Private Residences for the Royal Family in Brunei, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. In addition Michelle designed many of the Restaurant facilities at the The Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei, including Beach Facilities and the stand alone Cascades Asian Restaurant.

 

The Empire Hotel & Country Club is an astounding property nestling on the shores of the South China Sea in the tiny sultanate of Brunei. Tucked on the Northwest corner of the island of Borneo, between sea and jungle on the border with Malaysia.

1991 to 1992

The Victoria Falls Hotel, built by the British in 1904, was originally conceived as accommodation for workers on the Cape-to-Cairo railway and today it is a famous luxury brand . Now a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, offer stunning views of the gorges and bridge below. Steeped in history  and one of the oldest hotels in Africa.

Michelle established MEA Design in Dubai in 2014 after just winning the highly prestigious ‘Best Interior Designer of the year – 2013’ award from the Commercial Interior Design Awards .

Michelle’s unique experience in hospitality design with over 30 years has earned her a solid design reputation around the world wining numerous awards in design. Her personal experiences from conceptual design through to completion has taken her journey on numerous projects throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
